DC HOUSE

Due to the slenderness of the plot and having the best orientation on the shortest side, the volume of the house takes its shape by itself. The project is organized mainly by two volumes slightly displaced and connected by a light element. Given the need to have three levels, it is decided to vary the height of the volumes and locate the highest volume in the back to soften the main facade. The disengagement in plan of these two volumes is used to generate a half covered space where the exterior activity of the house will be concentrated.

villaroya

The plot analysis and it’s south-east facing turn out to be an open house mainly that aspect.
A half open space is generated as a transition between interior and exterior. In the middle of this porch the structure become opened all the way up, so it works out well for the surroundings volumes.

“DIMECRES” HOUSE

Baconé House

In the Ebro Delta, a stone’s throw from the Mediterranean Sea, this home stretches out in two directions at a 90º angle. Perfectly positioned to provide shelter from strong, north-westerly winds, the outdoor area of the home can also be enjoyed during the winter months. The main entrance benefits from cooling sea breezes during the summer heat.
